Go for the Gold.

I am really  excited about how my DIY, gold jeans turned out.
I wore them last Saturday night, out with my Family and their spouses.
Of course, I mixed a little animal print in with them, just for fun!

 I did a little R& R, so to speak, on these jeans.( a Re-Style of a Re-style)

I had decided that I wanted more gold color than jean color,
so I ended up painting them almost all over with tulip, gold fabric paint, on top of the other paint. You can purchase the gold fabric paint at any Michaels.
~ How I made them originally, HERE~
Who says you have to pay $250.00, for a pair of  gold jeans.?

Gold jeans~ Made by me, Velvet jacket and clutch~ Express, Tank ~target, Shoes~Antonio Melani,

All  accessories~  made by me.

I hope you all have a wonderful Thursday.
The weekend is just around the corner:)
Lots of <3,

  1. Hi Anne, cute jeans. I'm just stopping by to say how delightful your blog is. Thanks so much for sharing. I have recently found your blog and am now following you, and will visit often. Please stop by my blog and perhaps you would like to follow me also. Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Chris

  2. OHHH EMMM GEEEEE. I LOVE! I have been dying to take a pair of jeans and turn them metallic but wasn't sure how the paint would hold up in the wash...do tell!

    Ummmm, you look beatutiful :).

  3. I definitely like them with more gold. This is simply amazing! LOVE

  4. I would love to try these! How did you do them? Is this a metallic fabric-paint?

    1. Yes, there is a link at the top of the post and a video. At first used just reg metallic paint then I went back and used fabric metallic paint and painted them almost all over.
      Hope that helps.

  5. I love these! I'm going to link to this & your other gold jeans post on my blog.

My only question is - did the fabric paint make them kind of stiff / crunchy feeling? That would be my only concern as I've done certain projects before with paints on clothing and it sort of did that. But jeans are stiff to begin with so maybe it's not a problem? Either way, I love how it looks!

    1. It made them a little stiff but nothing really noticeable. I kind of like the feel of them.. Thank you so much!! have a great day!!

  6. I found these on Pinterest, and they're AMAZING. I love how they turned out, and can't wait to try this myself.
