I am finally getting to all the re-styles I have been wanting to do for over a year. I bought this purse at the beginning of spring last year with the intent to transform it in to something a little less plain.
Finally I finished it and sharing how easy it was to make with all of you. I now want to put POM POM's on everything, from Curtains to blankets to pillows. These little POM POM makers from Clover made it super simple. They have been one of the best investments I have made over the last 5 years as far as creating. I will link where you can find them under "Things you need", down below.
This cute orange, round bag was something I found in Walmart over a year ago.. I put a Link for a round Straw bag that I found at Target , this is not the same one that I have in this project. I could not find the one in this project and all the bags I see on the internet now are $25.00 or more. This Orange bag was only $15.00 what a steal. I am looking forward to using it all summer long..

Things You Need
- Round Straw Bag
- Small pom pom maker
- Pom Pom Maker Set of 4
- Three different Neutral yarn colors
- Scissors
- Small wooden skewer
- Make all of the pom poms using the small pom pom maker ( there are 13 on this bag)
- Start half way down the middle of the bag. ( I just put pom poms on the lower half of the bag.)
- Push the pom pom tails through a small hole in between the braids.
- I used a small wooden skewer, but a nail or a small screw driver would work too.
- Tie in a bow or a knot on the inside of the of the bag.
I think changing it up with different color Pom Pom
would be a great way to freshen this bag up all summer long.
