Oh, and check out my super short Hair!  WOW! I forgot just how short I kept it back then.
Mind Blowing

I had a 10 inch wide  by 48 inch long strip of knit material left over
from the bottom of another  tee shirt project I did HERE
I hate wasting my leftovers. This project seemed like the perfect fit to my problem!I had a lot of fun  making this .I also think it is a super easy kids project.

Boho, Fringe Sandal DIY.

Summer has gone by incredibly fast for me, like it always does, but I am not too  sad to see it go this year like I normally am.  The older I get the more I Love the change in weather, especially because Florida Summers seem to go on forever, and ever, and EVER. I think our hottest months are September and October. With that being said I would never change my Super hot summers for the bitter cold winters of the North. I am a true Florida Girl, I love my beaches. I think I can speak for all Floridians, Fall here is about two minutes and we pull out our sweaters at 70 degrees, because we know its the only chance we will get to wear them, well I do anyway. And 65 degrees ohh just forget it, that's freezing and it's heavy jacket time. While everyone else in the country is putting their summer things away after Labor day, we Floridians love to stretch out our summer attire way longer. I could most likely get a whole month longer to wear these sandals and no one here would think "Oooooo shes wearing white after labor day." That rule does not apply here.
I hope all of you had a beautiful summer.  My fall is going to be filled with all sorts of fun and amazing things and I cant wait to share them with all of you.!!

I bought these sandals at Charlotte Russe  and the first thing I did was stain them with something, not just in one place but in two. "Good Job Anne!-In the closest they went.-  One day while I was on Pinterest I saw the cutest fringe sandals and of course I thought "Restyle" I really do love the way they turned out.   I ended up taking the fringe off the top around the ankle because it was just more "my style."  The moral of the story don't just throw them away, restyle them if you can!

No Sew, Yellow Halter: DIY

Such an easy tee to make. I mean, I made this in less than 5 minutes.   This top would be so cute with some shorts or a pair of jeans. Summers here in Florida are so hot. How cute would this be on a little 3 year old with some black and white shorts. I might have to start making little mini versions of all my tees. I hope all of you are having a wonderful summer. It is going by super quick for me.

No Sew, Grey, Summer Tee-shirt Dress: DIY.

Working on no sew tee shirts is probably my favorite thing to do. Figuring out and creating different designs is always a challenge and so rewarding when they work out the way I see them in my head.
This cute little dress came from a mess up tee which goes to show you that sometimes mess ups are the best.  You really need to be open minded and think outside the box when you create because your best might come your worst. "Such is  Life."

No Sew,One Shoulder, Side Tied Shirt;DIY

Say the title of this post three times fast.

I was in the middle of working on a different project when I had someone ask me about another  shirt I had made a year ago and they could not find a tutorial on it. When I  went to look for the tutorial for them  I realized that I had not made one. What the heck ...
Then I realized It was Right when my Grandmother had passed away and I am sure my mind was a little crazy at the time. I really  wanted to post a tutorial on it  so I  quickly re-made the shirt. and wrote up this tutorial
This shirt would be really cute with jeans or shorts or even paired with a cute skirt.
The best thing about this shirt is it is completely adjustable. You can make it as tight or as loose as you want.

So sorry it took me a year to accomplish this :/

Crystal Intent Bracelet: DIY

"Blue Quartz Crystal is a soothing, stress- relief stone.
It assists in the ability  to reach out to others Assuages fear.
 Calms the mind. Inspires hope."

I have been trying to come up with different ways I can incorporate crystals into my DIY jewelry.
This quick DIY will enable you to pick your favorite Crystal and incorporate it into a piece of wearable art designed specifically for the feelings your want to protect or enhance. Re-Post:Multi-tied Back Tee.DIY

I was Scrolling through Pinterest and  I came across one of my favorite No sew tees.
I am thinking I might have to re-create this somehow.

Original Post was August 2017.

Tied back tees are all the rage this summer. I mean I  don't think I have walked passed a window of a clothing store that was not displaying at least ten of them.
What I liked best about this shirt was  how easy it was to create.  This one is similar to the cut out shoulder tee,  HERE,  and my brain was spinning with ideas on how to expand on it.  I was originally  going to make this a little differently but I really liked how it turned out.
Happy Accidents are my favorite.
Another plus... this shirt  is totally adjustable. You can tie it tight or loose, which makes it fit YOUR body shape.
Oh,... and can we talk about this bag?  This bag was something I found at Target while shopping with my Mom. It is suppose to be a Beach bag but I am seriously thinking about making it my Late summer, all around bag. I mean look at it, I could fit one of those tiny houses from HGTV in it. Anyway That bag is a whole other blog post. If you want to know how easy it is to make this shirt just click below.

Crystal Intention Charms: DIY

Making a Crystal intention charm is not only easy but it is a good way to set your intention and help you with healing, blocking or just with your everyday energy.   Why I like the charms is because you can mix a couple of different crystals to cater to a specific need.

Pink, Glitter Shoes Re-Style: DIY

Did you ever have that one pair of shoes you just can't get rid of, or maybe they are relatively new  and  where damaged on their first outing. Such a bummer.  Well why not give them new life by making them fancy, I mean everyone deserves a second chance.

These pink, fake suede, shoes where injured pretty quick in the game.  I felt like they had so much life left in them so I gave them CPR. (Cute, re-Purpose, Re-Style)
With just a little glue and Glitter you can turn almost any shoe into a sparkly masterpiece.

A really wonderful friend of mine ask me to jazz up this skirt with pearls,

Off the shoulder Tee- shirt dress:. Re Post.

I am looking back through all of my DIY's and this is
was one of my favorite DIY's that I have done to date.
I am dreaming of those warm summer days where this can be worn.
A little blast from the past.

This dress is an idea I thought would be cute and easy to make for summer,
It's made out of two plain black  T- shirt. You can dress this dress up for a fun night out or
dress it down for a day of shopping or a stroll on the beach.

Double Criss, Cross Tee DIY.

First post of 2018 and I am really excited about this New Year.
I have been  feeling a little discouraged and not really knowing what direction I wanted  to go in with my blog over the last 6 months. The death of  my Grandmother effected me to my  core...

I finally have decided to go back and re-discover all the things I love. Incorporating different DIYs  like jewelry, clothes and of course T-shirts (My favorite.)  Getting back to my creativity feeds and heals my soul, Which is what I desperately need.   If you are  going though difficult times in your life; if you feel defeated, uninspired, depressed, anxious, not really knowing why your here what your life's purpose is, this is the advice I would give.  Take some time to regroup to try and identify the feeling under why you are feeling this way. Walk, meditate, eat well, read encouraging works, listen to encouraging people and song, seek professional help if you have to. Your spirit is trying to grow during this time, to become stronger; help it grow by feeding it what it wants. If you do not know what feeds your soul, do some soul searching.  Try and identify  what brings you happiness; Is it music, art, writing,  cooking, teaching,  nature, gardening,  what makes your feel good?.  Still can't find what you need?, think about when you were a kid, what was the one thing that brought you joy.  Your soul will know when you find it, cultivate that, work it into a job. Dare to dream for it.  You will come through it I promise.  It may take time, but it will happen.  You will be different and you will be stronger.

So now lets do this Tee Shirt.

The Grind of 2017 and the promise for 2018!

Going back to the beginning of why I started this challenge in the first place is bitter sweet for me. When my Grandmother passed away it was one of the hardest life experiences I have ever had to deal with to date. It put me in this unfamiliar place of pain, the feeling of helplessness, anxiety, insomnia, and a all over feeling of sadness that I just couldn't seem to shake. When I researched dealing with a  death of a loved one there were all sorts of suggestions, from therapy, meds, time.  One morning after a rough night and waking up not being able to breathe I decided that I had to make  change. I put on my walking gear and I have never looked back..This was kind of like prescribing myself medicine, but instead of taking  pills I decided to work out all of my issues through exercise and meditation. I would walk everyday for one hour no matter what. I cleared my mornings and started. No exceptions. No excuses. I was invested and determined and that's a powerful combination.  All of my anxiety slowly disappeared and slowly I became sane again Every morning for the last 209 days, give or take a day, due to Hurricanes, traveling to bury my Grandmother, or the latest which is a nasty, nasty cold  I have only missed about 10 days total.,
I have so many more goals for this 2018 year to push myself even further. To push this 50 year old body to its top potential: Mentally, Spiritually and Physically.

During  this journey I have lost about 18 - 20 pounds  regained my confidence and pulled though a really tough time. All in all I would say its a win, win situation.

Was it easy ? No!!!  but so, so worth every step...
Here is to many more goals to be met in 2018 including going back to regular blog post.. Which is over due...

Thank you all for  your support this last year,  it has meant the world to me and gotten me through some pretty dark days.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
Love to all of you.
Anne
