Stripes almost always make me think of France. There is something magical about them. Maybe I think about France when I wear stripes because Cary Grant wore a Striped shirt in the movie
To Catch a Thief.
or because Audrey Tautou wore one, portraying
Coco Chanel.
Then there is the infamous Coco Chanel, herself, in a striped Sailor Shirt that she made famous to women in 1917.
Anyway, Striped Shirt~ France.
Bottom Line.
all in one day!!
Now if I could just eat all of these and
Still look like this!!
Have a Wonderful Friday Night!

I have a top pretty much exactly like the one Audrey Tatou is wearing! I was a fragrance modeling (perfume girl) in college and wore this for Jean Paul Gaultier. Desi was going to wear it for his mime act.

I love Breton stripes! And they indeed come from the French navy! You look very cute! Have a lovely weekend!

I love stripes! I actually have three tops that are nearly identical except for the sleeve length. They are all this blue and white striped look and I love them! :)
ReplyDeleteThat style does have a French feel to it. Very cute! I bought a stripped sweater at a garage sale, but I haven't worn it yet. This inspires me to put an outfit together!
ReplyDeleteLove the stripes, not only do they remind me of Paris but of the sea. :) I love your shirt and necklace, very pretty and I would to be sitting on a beach towel somewhere, maybe even eating a few or all of those goodies!! ;)
