 There is a slight hiccup on some of my posts.

I have most of them back in order,

 but some are taking more time to reconstruct.

Please bare with me while this site is under a very small reconstruction.

What a Stud. DIY, Purse Re-Style with studs.

Need a purse update?

 This Purse re-style only cost me $1.67  in studs

 that I bought from Hobby Lobby, 

and only took me about 30 minutes from start to finish.

I just love fast, easy and inexpensive. 

Tutorial 

Things you need.

1. Old purse
2. Studs
3. Scissors
4. Pliers
5. X-acto knife

 #1 Cut off the straps.

 #2 measure to the middle of your bag 

#3 I lined up my stud, I then pressed the stud lightly into the leather to make a mark

  this is where you make your slits with the x-acto knife.

#4 Push the tip of the x-acto knife all the way through to the other side.

#5  Push your stud through the leather, then with pliers fold the back tips down.

#6  I used the stitching on my purse to measure where my next stud went.  

Every two stitches I would put a new stud.

 But this is totally up to you and how you want to space them..

Continue with the studs until you get the desired look you want.

Glitter Pocket, DIY

Do you have some old jeans that need just a little pick me up.  

Why not put a little sparkle on them in no time.

 Tutorial 

Things you need.

1. Glitter *I used Martha Stewart White gold.
2. Fabric glue
3. Brush, or a stick something to spread the glue with * if you use a brush you can clean the brush with finger nail polish remover.*

 Spread your glue on the pocket * a thin coat.

 Sprinkle your glitter on the glue.

( A little trick, I push the glitter down into the glue with my finger gently.)

Let dry about 3 to 4 hours then shake off your glitter. 

* Let dry for 24 hours before you wash.

Then wear.

No Sew Triangle Tee-Shirt, DIY

In the Mountains, on a little break from everyday life and  Crafting with my Sister in-law Anne.

We decided that she needed to make her own  no sew Tee shirt. 

This Tee-shirt was created just for Anne.

 Tutorial 

Things You Need.

1. Tee-Shirt  *This one is a  Hanes Men's extra large, but you can use the size of your choice. I always use Hanes.
2. Chalk
3. Scissors

 Front

Cut off the collar.

Draw a small triangle with chalk.

 Make the lines gradually descending

Cut your lines. 

 Back

Make a slighty larger triangle : the lines gradually descending.

Cut the lines.

  Stretch out your cuts carefully.

 Cut a slit up one side about 12 inches.

 Tie it.

 We also cut a slit on each sleeve about 4 inches.

Tie them.

Back

Get your scissors out and start creating..

 Tutorial

Things you need.

1.  Tee-Shirt. Mine is A Mens  Medium *I always use Hanes Tee shirts.
2. Scissors
3. Chalk

 Place your tee on a flat surface.
#1 Lay Front side down draw a shape like the picture above with your chalk.
#2 Draw your vertical lines.
#3 Carefully cut on your lines.

 Stretch out the material carefully,
this will curl your strips.
If you want to do the front strips, repeat Steps #1 through #3 on the front.
and stretch the material like you did the back.

 If you want  the fish tail look, fold your shirt sideways.

Draw a line like the one above.

Then cut on your line.

 

 It should look something like the picture above
