Sunday with Sailor Sam; Summer Plans.

Sailor Sam is already planning lots to do over the Summer, let's go see what they are..

 It is always fun to watch  Sailor Sam sliding down the banister for breakfast.

 But before breakfast Sailor Sam made me take him in to see Boo, our new Hamster.

"What a cutie!!!" Sailor Sam said..

 While I was fixing him his eggs and bacon 

Sailor Sam decided he would plank on a few things.

Like this Banana.

 an Avocado

 and a lime.

Silly Sam.

 After breakfast Sailor Sam found the beautiful blue rock. " Isn't this a beautiful rock Anne?"

"Yes Sailor Sam, it is."

 While I was working on a few projects Sailor Sam and Max decided to make a list up of some of the things that they wanted to do this summer.

 "If we go to the beach Anne, we have to take sun block."

 "Yes Sailor Sam we do." I said. 

  "Can we go to the beach today Anne?"Sam asked. 

 "No Sam, not today but maybe sometime this week." I replied.

 Sam then helped me with one of my earring projects.

 Later that day Sailor Sam asked me if I would draw him a portrait of himself,
 so I did.

 And Max then wanted one too.

I told Max and Sailor Sam that they had to keep themselves busy so I could work,

 so they spent the rest of the afternoon playing games like tic, tac, toe....

 and checkers.

 As  I tucked Sailor Sam and Max into bed last night, Sam Said.

 " I sure hope we can go to the beach this week."

" Me too Sailor Sam. I will work on freeing up a whole day so that we can  go. 

How is that Sailor Sam?" I asked him.

"That is great Anne, I can hardly wait."

"Good Night Sailor Sam, Max and Pooky. 

Sweet Dreams."

"Good Night Anne."

Sunday with Sailor Sam, Random fun

This week Sailor Sam is running a little late.

  School just got out so we have to find lots of fun things to do with our summer time.

Let's go see what he has been up to.

Sailor Sam and I always start out each day with a big cup of coffee.

 Sailor Sam and I headed back to the movies.

 This time to see a scary movie called Prometheus.

 We ate our first Cake pop. YUM!!

 We went to Typhoon Lagoon......

 and rode in the wave pool.

So much fun..

 Sailor Sam played in the jungle rope.

and then he climbed a rope wall.

Sailor Sam  made a hat out of paper.

Silly Sam.

And  he is getting ready for the fourth of July.

As always Sailor Sam, Pooky and Max are sound asleep 

before their heads even hit the pillow.

What a week.

"Good night Max, Good night Sailor Sam, Sleep well."

Sunday with Sailor Sam, Summer is coming.

After a littler break to observe Memorial Day,

Sam and Max are back enjoying the beginning of summer.

Let's go see what they have been up to.

 We did some sketches together

 Sam told me he held the key.

Sailor Sam and I met, Selena, a good friend of mine from college

 for lunch at the Columbia restaurant in Celebration.

Of course Sailor Sam ordered the Godiva chocolate cake.

I took Sailor Sam and Max to the Movies.

 We saw Men in Black 3 in 3D, they both thought it was awesome.

 Sailor Sam ate his very first raspberry and he loved it.

But eating it proved to be very messy, because  he got raspberry juice all over him

and  I had to wash his suit.

 He also tried watermelon for the first time.

"These new fruits or super yummy." he told me.

 Sailor Sam and Max put there heads together and decided to build something.

 They were so happy with the results.. 

It was a  really cool fort.

They played it it for hours.

 Until they both fell fast a sleep.

What a wonderful week.

Memorial Day

Sailor Sam and I want to thank all Soldiers who gave their life 

are serving and who are still serving our country 

protecting the freedoms that we all have.

Have a safe and wonderful Memorial Day.

Sunday with Sailor Sam: Planking and Sand

This week Sam did a little silly planking and discovered sand,

 let's go see.

The week started out by Sailor Sam planking on a tea kettle,

In the shower,...

     

On the computer while I am editing this post.  

Silly Sailor Sam.

After all of the planking we decided that a short trip to the beach was in order.

We saw a Ginormous Sand Castle.

Sailor Sam sat in the sand and looked out into the ocean with his telescope.

Then Sam laid down in the sand to catch some rays. 

I think he was tired from all the planking.

Then we buried Sailor Sam up to his neck in sand.

Later that night after our bath and dinner 

Sailor Sam made me watch the Brave trailer about 50 times:)

Then as I tucked him into bed, I asked him if he had a good day.

His Reply.. "Everyday is a good day Anne." Which made me smile.

"Good night Sailor Sam, sweet dreams." I told him.

Then I kissed him good night.

Sunday with Sailor Sam on Monday; Happy Birthday!

This week was a very special week because Sailor Sam Celebrated a Birthday.

I  am still unsure of  how old he is because when I found him 

he had no memory of when he was made, born. 

But he did remember that his Birthday was May 10.

Let us go and see what a great Birthday week he had.

Monday we took Sailor Sam to Dinner at our favorite place, Carrabba's

 He ate spinach and goat cheese pizza.

and limoncello bread pudding for dessert.

It was so good.

Wednesday we made up invitations to Sailor Sam's  Birthday Party, and mailed them.

 Saturday all of Sailor Sam's friends came to his Rockin-Birthday Party.

First, they all sang Happy Birthday to Sailor Sam, 

then he blew out the candles on his chocolate, strawberry cake.

 Everyone ate a huge piece of cake, it was sooooo yummy.

 Then we all played "Pin the Tail on the Donkey."

  After the game Sailor Sam opened his gifts. 

 He was so excited he got a new telescope.

"Thank you everyone, your the best friends ever.!"

After opening his gifts, Ava put on some dance music 

and they all danced the night away..

 until they where all pooped out.

 Then Sailor Sam thanked all of his friends for a wonderful party 

and wished them Adieu.

 On Sunday Sailor Sam made me this card.

"I just love you Sailor Sam" I told him.

Sailor Sam and Max also made me a big cup of coffee 

and gave me this new shimmer body lotion,

 it smells YUM!!!!

 that night as I tucked Sailor Sam and Max into bed, Sailor Sam said to me

" I had such a wonderful week, thank you Anne.

The only thing missing at my Birthday party was

 Audrey,

 that would have made the day perfect."

" I know Sailor Sam, I know. 

 Hopefully we will get to see her very soon."  I told him.

"Sweet dreams you two, sleep well.

"Night, night, Anne."  they both said with a yawn., 

and they fell fast asleep.
