Boho, Fringe Sandal DIY.

Summer has gone by incredibly fast for me, like it always does, but I am not too  sad to see it go this year like I normally am.  The older I get the more I Love the change in weather, especially because Florida Summers seem to go on forever, and ever, and EVER. I think our hottest months are September and October. With that being said I would never change my Super hot summers for the bitter cold winters of the North. I am a true Florida Girl, I love my beaches. I think I can speak for all Floridians, Fall here is about two minutes and we pull out our sweaters at 70 degrees, because we know its the only chance we will get to wear them, well I do anyway. And 65 degrees ohh just forget it, that's freezing and it's heavy jacket time. While everyone else in the country is putting their summer things away after Labor day, we Floridians love to stretch out our summer attire way longer. I could most likely get a whole month longer to wear these sandals and no one here would think "Oooooo shes wearing white after labor day." That rule does not apply here.
I hope all of you had a beautiful summer.  My fall is going to be filled with all sorts of fun and amazing things and I cant wait to share them with all of you.!!

I bought these sandals at Charlotte Russe  and the first thing I did was stain them with something, not just in one place but in two. "Good Job Anne!-In the closest they went.-  One day while I was on Pinterest I saw the cutest fringe sandals and of course I thought "Restyle" I really do love the way they turned out.   I ended up taking the fringe off the top around the ankle because it was just more "my style."  The moral of the story don't just throw them away, restyle them if you can!

Things You Need

  • Shoes
  • Scissors
  • Fringe or Tassel Fringe
  • Aleene's Fabric Fusion Glue or E6000

  •  Infamous stain

Measure and cut the fringe  *I measured, cut and glued  as I went.
  • Apply the glue to the back side of the fringe

  • Place fringe on the shoe, *Tip work from the bottom up when applying fringe.
  • Let them sit for 24 hours until completely dry before you wear them.
Here is a shot with no fringe around the ankle.
The best part about DIY is you can tweak it however you want, to fit YOUR style.

Have a Beautiful Day Everyone!
