If your jeans are too long cut them and add a touch of lace in minutes.
Tutorial
Things you need.
- Jeans
- Lace about 2 to 3 inches wide and about 30 inches long.
- Scissors
- Sewing machine or you can hand sew this.
#2 measure and cut your lace.
#3 Pin the lace to the inside of your jeans sew about an a half of an inch from the bottom of the jeans.
You can stop here and this is what they look like..peeking out from under your jeans.. OR......
Sew around the top of the lace to anchor it and have a lace cuff.
I also added a little lace to one of the pockets. (Optional)
I hand stitched this.
Possibilities are endless.
Dye the lace a color then sew it on.
Have a Super Saturday!
Lots of <3,
Anne
I love this. The jeans look amazing!
ReplyDeleteI definitely prefer the lace when it's folded back over rather than peeking out! Love your shoes as well!

Thank you so much Beth!!!
DeleteI like the lace both ways! If you attached the lace really well to the underside, you could have the best of both worlds by pinning it up when you want it cuffed....
Deletegood idea! the first one option is the best!

Hi! Where did you get this specific lace? I'm having trouble finding anything like it.
ReplyDeleteThe lace is a lace placemat . I just used a medium needle:)
DeleteAlso! Did you use a specific needle when you were sewing it?
ReplyDeleteLovely idea!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the idea! I have some cotton Summer pants that a little too short. I think I can use this idea to lengthen them. :)
