Well I was going to wait and see if my feather necklace came back to blogger, but I am afraid it is lost forever. I am going to try and recreate it the same way it was.
With that being said, I also have to say, that in spite all the craziness that happened with blogger over the last couple of days, I have to THANK them for allowing me the the opportunity to be able to post my ideas on blogger. I think they have a wonderful space here, on the interwebs, and it is all free, for me to create how I want. I am sure they have caught a lot of slack, because of the down time that they have had. But, this has just made me realize how happy I am that they have created a place like this for all of us to enjoy. Thank you Blogger, and the people behind blogger, for working so hard for us to have this Special Place.
Ok, Feather Necklace, lets recreate you.

I have never seen these before and I am not sure what they are called, but this is how they look-and I bought them at Wal-mart.
This is what I clamped the feathers in..
For the first Necklace, I made a simple chain, something that would fit over my head, without a clasp.
For this necklace I just measured some more chain and attached the feathers to the end of the chain.
Oh my gosh this is beautiful Anne!!! I love that you can wear it so many ways, my favorite is the wrapped twice! Very pretty and such a wonderful idea! :)

A necklace on back is really chic if you wear a strapless dress, for example.Fantastic post as always, my dear Anne.:)
ReplyDeleteI spotted it on your flax seed pants post and couldn't remember if I had seen the tutorial. I can't keep up with all of your wonderful creations! I do actually. I didn't want to call you on the feather necklace one. And good thing because you had one but it got sucked into the Blogger blackout hole. I agree, I appreciate the free platform for our blogging.
