Easy Copper DIY Necklace.

I am always looking for copper to make into a necklace. 

One afternoon, about 6 months ago, I was wondering through a Lowes  and came across some really cool looking, copper joints. These beautiful pieces of copper have been just sitting in a box on my desk.   I have finally put one of them to use.

 I love how it turned out.

Growing My Hair Out.

I thought it would be fun to put a picture collage together of me growing my hair out, sort of a "Look how far you have come, don't give up now!" pep talk to myself.  I really didn't start growing my hair out until May of 2013, but it was fun to see all of the different ways my hair was over the last 3 years.
       If you are thinking about growing your hair out then be strong it takes about 6 months to a year.

Glitter 2014 Tee-shirt, DIY

As 2013 comes to a roaring close, I take a somber look back on everything that has happened this past year. Let me just say it has been challenging, to say the very least. Even though I have been tested, tried, surprised and amazed  I always look at my life as a learning experience.  I am constantly asking myself the question "What can I learn from what is happening to me at the moment."  The Good things are much easier to navigate through but you have to be able to navigate through the Bad,  that is what shapes and molds us into the person that we are.   

I have always felt like something wonderful is just around the corner and THAT is what keeps me motivated. I have the ability to see the positive and focus on that, it is quite a gift. Because of this challenging year, I am not unhappy to see 2013 pass.  I am, however, very excited for 2014.  This a chance to start fresh, seeing the good in everything and focusing on it.  I am very thankful for my wonderful Family, Husband, Children and Friends. Without our connection to one another I feel we are lost. Maybe that is why the internet is so popular, 

we are connected to everyone at the touch of a button.

 I hope that you bring in the New Year with the thought of something wonderful happening to you.

 May you and your loved ones be blessed in the year 2014.
