Personalize it.

 Make One!

I found this great wire at Wal- mart for only  a $1.00, and with it made myself a little monogrammed necklace. I just looked up some cursive letters on line and with my pliers , I bent them into place. Then I hooked the two letters together.  After that I
added a jump ring and a chain.

I use different cursive fonts that I looked up on line, to figure out what would work.
Samples, pictured  below.

A fun necklace ~ made by you..

Feathers and Free Time.

  Express Jeans, Gap~ sweater, Sheer Top~ Macy's, scarf~Target ,Shoes ~Target,
Earrings~ I made

I have always been a big fan of feathers, in any way, shape, or form.  I had a little free time today so I made these feather earrings.  I love days when I can just craft and not worry about time. I will put up a tutorial  on how I did them soon.  They were super easy and just a few dollars to make. Other than making those earrings, I had a pretty easy day, running errands and cooking dinner.  Now, after I finnish this post I have just enough time to play  a little. BF3.:)
Have a Great Night.

Project Re-Style # 44 Re-Style your earrings

Do  you have that one pair of hoop earrings  that are past their prime, or are starting to turn a weird,  color?   I did, so I decided to change them into something else.
Welcome everyone,
to Re-Style week number #44.
The other day, I saw some earrings just like this at Charlotte Russe.
Making these took me about 15 minutes and if you have chain already~ Free is  the name of the game, if you don't, it will cost you about $3.21 for the chain.

Boots and Bows

Yep!! my feet are still there.
Sheer shirt~ Forever,  Jacket~ Target, Sequined tank~ Marshall's
Boots, Durango, Sunnies~ Cole Haan

I made this bow because I coveted one that  I saw in my November, InStyle Magazine, this month. (instructions on how I did that HERE)  I am also bringing out my favorite jeans, that have appeared to come back into style. These Flared leg, Express jeans are super comfortable and were acquired about 5 years ago when I worked for Express.  I know all of you girls have heard the saying ," If you keep it long enough, it will come back in style,"Well I guess my favorite comfy jeans can come out of the dark side of my closet now..I  know, I know that is not true for all of our clothing items, but jeans just always seem to sneak back around.
And on another note: I am not real sure WHY I am so fascinated with these boots. ( also ancient).  I am just really loving everything about them A.T.M.
Wow!!My taste in clothes really does a 360 sometimes.
Have a great Sunday,
see you tomorrow for
Re-Style Monday.

Glitter, Bow Tie Necklace, DIY

In my InStyle Magazine this month
I saw this.

Made it,

Tutorial
Things you need.

  1. Leather
  2. Scissors
  3. Leather hole punch
  4. Jump Rings
  5. Clasp
  6.  Glue
  7.  Pliers
  8.  Plumbers Chain ~I bought 10 feet of brass chain for $6.00~

Cut this out

Trace the bow on your leather and cut out.
cut a strip about 1 inch for the middle of the bow.
gather the middle of the bow,
wrap the inch piece around,
glue,
I held mine with a clothes pin until dry.

 Cover with glue
Sprinkle with gliter
Let dry
then cover with glue on top of glitter to seal it

Measure your chain,  to the length you want, cut the chain in half using your pliers.
Punch two holes at the top of your bow
Add your jump rings.
and your chain.
then at the other end of the chain add your clasp and jump ring.
and with that you are finished.
I can also see this on a headband.

I think this will be fun for the holidays.
Have a wonderful Saturday!!
Enjoy every second.
