Glitter 2014 Tee-shirt, DIY

As 2013 comes to a roaring close, I take a somber look back on everything that has happened this past year. Let me just say it has been challenging, to say the very least. Even though I have been tested, tried, surprised and amazed  I always look at my life as a learning experience.  I am constantly asking myself the question "What can I learn from what is happening to me at the moment."  The Good things are much easier to navigate through but you have to be able to navigate through the Bad,  that is what shapes and molds us into the person that we are.
I have always felt like something wonderful is just around the corner and THAT is what keeps me motivated. I have the ability to see the positive and focus on that, it is quite a gift. Because of this challenging year, I am not unhappy to see 2013 pass.  I am, however, very excited for 2014.  This a chance to start fresh, seeing the good in everything and focusing on it.  I am very thankful for my wonderful Family, Husband, Children and Friends. Without our connection to one another I feel we are lost. Maybe that is why the internet is so popular,
we are connected to everyone at the touch of a button.
I hope that you bring in the New Year with the thought of something wonderful happening to you.
May you and your loved ones be blessed in the year 2014.
I have made this  Shirt just to remind me this will be the best year ever.

Tutorial
Things you need

  1. Shirt
  2. Scissors
  3. Pen
  4. Tulip Glitter Iron on transfer sheet
  5. Stencil
  6. Iron

Print out 2014 in the font you like.
 Cut it out.
There are two sides to the glitter paper the rough, glitter side and the smooth, dull side.
I turned my paper over so the glitter, rough side faced down and the dull, smooth side faced up.
Then I flipped my numbers over so that they looked backwards and traced them out. Because when you turn them over and place them on your shirt they will be the right way.
cut off your collar for an off the shoulder look.

Place your numbers on your shirt.
 Iron them down.
30 seconds should do it with a dry iron.
Follow the instructions on the transfer sheet.

Now you have a 2014 shirt you can wear all year
to remind you this is going to be your best year EVER!
Lots of <3,
Anne

  2. Another great, simple idea! You have been an inspiration to my 5 year old daughter and I for our "twinsie" looks. Each creation can be done simply and understated for her, while I can keep it adult and fashionable for me. They have also been a great bonding experience for us as well. I thank you for that!

I hope that 2014 is all that you wish it to be for you and your family. I look forward to many more of your great creations in the future.
