No Sew Jewelled Halter: T-Shirt DIY

Need a quick top for Spring.?

Here is a super easy no sew halter. 

My husband thought that it needed something else,

 so I decided to decorate the collar with just a little bling.

 I also did a quick Video for all of you visual people like me, showing you how I made this shirt.

 Tutorial 

Things you need.

1. Tee-Shirt  any size you want * I used a  Hanes Mens T-shirt in medium.
2. Scissors
3. Chalk
4. Studs *Square Studs, Hobby Lobby ~ Rhinestone Studs, Michaels
5. Pliers
6. X-acto Knife

 I used 3 Rhinestone studs and the rest were Square studs.

 First make a 4 inch chalk line in the  front of your shirt, under the collar.

Then cut around your collar from the chalk line all the way around to the other side. 

Cut just below the seam of the collar.

 Draw a line from the front of your collar to the middle of the shoulder do the same to the other side, then cut that out leaving the collar in place.

Looks like this.

Of course you can always leave it plain.

Or...

Place three rhinestones: one big in the middle,

 and the two medium ones on the side: with a square stud in between.

 use a hammer to lightly hit the rhinestones into place.

Place your  square studs, working around the collar placing them about one inch apart.

Stackable Bead Rings, DIY

 Dainty little stackable rings you could make in any color.

 Tutorial

Things you need.

1.  Pliers 
2. Seed beads *Michales or Wal-Mart
3. Wire 24 gauge *Wal-Mart or Michaels
4. Candle

 Cut your wire about 4 inches long.

 Wrap around your candle to the size you need. 

I would always go just a little bigger than smaller.

 Make a small hook at the end of one of the wires, this will make it easier to pick up your beads.

I placed my beads on a white piece of paper. 

then I strung the beads on my wire until I got to the size that I wanted.

 Then I twisted my wire. 

Wrap the wire in opposite directions around two or three times and trim off the excess.

  Make a bunch and stack them up.

Easy, Mini Ice Cream Sandwiches, DIY

Save some money.

Make your own little Ice Cream sandwiches for your little munchkins,

 or for the older munchkins like me..

They end up being about 110 calories per sandwich.

 Tutorial 

Things you need.

1.  Ice cream 
2. Small cookies. I found these little cookies in the Green-wise section of Publix.
3. Small Ice Cream Scoop
4. Zip lock container.

 Lay 8 cookies face down.

Scoop a small scoop of ice cream on one of the cookies.

 Put the other cookie on top and press down just a little.

*work quickly or your ice cream will melt.

 Set inside a zip lock container, cover and put in the freezer.

Rhinestone Sunglasses, DIY

I have been wanting to decorate a pair of sunglasses with rhinestones for a while but was afraid I would just make a big glue mess.  I was forgetting the fact that  I try everything no matter how messy it gets and I try to make it easy for you to do it too. I think I have come up with a solution for gluing anything onto sunglasses.

 Tutorial

Things you need

1. Sunglasses *Wal-Mart $5.00
2. Aleene's Max Tacky glue *Wal-mart
3. Rhinestone chains *Wal-mart
4. Q-tips and a small bowl of water.

 Now don't be rushed on this project.  I would plan it at least a day or two before you want to wear them, because they will need to dry over night.

Measure your rhinestone chain  and cut it to the length you would like.

 I am doing a line all the way across the top of my glasses.

 You can always cut down but you can not add length, remember this when you measure.

 

 Find the middle, you can mark it or just remember.

 Lay your rhinestones face down on the table an place a very small bead of glue across the back of your rhinestones. Try not to use too much glue.

 Find the middle of the rhinestones chain.
 Place them carefully on your sunglasses from the middle and work your way out.
Take your time, if you smudge some glue do not panic,  I cleaned mine up with a little water and a Q-tip.

 Let dry 24 hours.

I just might add another row of Rhinestones.

 But for now just one row.

Wire Wrapped Bracelet, DIY.

Want an easy afternoon project?

 How about this easy wire wrapped bracelet.

With a few beads, some wire and your imagination the possibilities are endless. 

 Tutorial

 Things you need

1. 20 gauge wire *Wal-Mart craft section
2. Beads *Wal-Mart craft section
3. Pliers

 Cut your wire about 14 to 15 inches long.

With your pliers make a small circle at one end

Lay out your pattern.

String your beads on to your wire.

 Finish the end with another circle.

I made one more with gold beads and one skull bead.

I think I will make my next one 7 inches longer to wrap three times around my arm.

Wrap around your wrist and off you go.
