Heart, Wire Earrings,DIY

HEARTS <3<3<3  are going to be the focus the next couple of weeks,
 starting with the dainty heart earrings you can make yourself.

 Tutorial
Things you need.
  1.  Pliers
  2. 20 gauge wire
  3. Earring findings
  4. Ruler
 Cut your wire about 4 inches long.


 find the middle and make a V.


 curve one side around.


 Then the other.


Twist the ends.

  Curl the ends up.



Bend up the middle

Twist it.


Shape back flat.




Add your earring Findings.

    2. I went on to do a set in green (my favorite color)... And then used the basic shape to make a bracelet in green as well. And then the necklace you just posted. My first complete set of jewelry (playing with rings), but now I'm out of green wire. :(

  6. Love it! DO you think this would be Difficult to do in nursing home? are the wires tough to twist? where did you buy the wires and the findings thank you

    1. No not to bad, the wire is pretty pliable. Most everything I buy from Wal-mart or Michaels. What a great Idea.
