Seed Bead, Bangle Bracelet: DIY

Do you need some dainty little bangle bracelets  for summer.? 

Why not make some.

Seed Bead Bangles.

Tutorial 

Things you need.

1. Seed beads * Wal-mart, Hobby Lobby or Michaels
2. 24 gauge wire* Wal-mart, Hobby Lobby or Michaels
3. Pliers

 Measure and cut your wire about 10 to 12 inches long

 Make a loop at one end.

 String on your beads.

String the beads on until you reach  about 8 inches long,
 Then make a circle.
 Twist the wire and wrap the wire around on both ends.

And that's it.
You can also add little crystal beads on them.,

if you want to add something extra.

Leather Chevron Necklace, DIY

Want just a touch of the Chevron trend? 

 Why not make a necklace.

 Tutorial 

Things You Need.

1. Scrap Leather * Hobby Lobby in the leather section a whole package of scraps for $6.00
2. Ruler
3. Chain (about 30 inches)
4. Jump rings 15 large, 4 medium * Michaels, Hobby Lobby,or Wal-mart
5. Clasp * Michaels, Hobby Lobby,or Wal-mart
6. Leather hole punch *Michaels about $9.00
7. X-acto Knife
8. Pencil
9. Paper

 Making a template.

Measure your paper about 2 inches wide and about 6 inches long.

 Fold your paper in half

 Mark diagonal lines with your ruler

different widths.

 Cut on your lines.

on the last one make a cut out the middle

 Line them up the way you want

 place them on your leather scrap and trace with a pencil.

 Cut them out with an x-acto knife and a ruler.

 Use your hole punch and punch your holes.

 Add your large jump rings and about a half of an inch of chain between each piece.

Measure about 24 inches of chain

Run the chain through the top jump rings.

I added rhinestone to my necklace( optional)

Add one medium jump to your clasp and add that to your chain.
Add the other medium jump ring to the large jump ring.
Add the medium jump ring to the other side of your chain. ( the large jump ring is where the clasp will hook to.)

Wear.

Dyed Lip T-Shirt: DIY

Lips seem to be on my mind lately,

See how I made this Lip tee using Tie-Dye, by heading over to

Bleached Lip T-shirt, DIY

 Tutorial 

Things you need.

1. T-shirt
2. Scissors
3. Small spray bottle
4. Bleach
5. Lip stencil
6. Contact paper
7. Cookie tray.

 

Print  this  

Cover your print with contact paper front and back.

Use an x-acto knife to cut it out,

 save both the positive and the negative  part.

 Place the cookie sheet in between  your shirt.

 Put your lips on your shirt.

 Put gloves on.

* Be extra careful not to get the bleach on anything, like your clothes,

 you might want to wear an apron .

Fill your small spray bottle with half water and about 2 table spoons of bleach.

Spray lightly around your stencil.

 

Leave it  on for just a few minutes 

carefully remove your stencil and blot it off with a paper towel,

 then rinse your shirt in cold water.

Let dry.

Cut off your collar.

You can wash like normal.

I can't wait to make all kinds of designs this way.

Braided Wire Rings, DIY

 Tutorial

Things You Need

1. 20 Gauge wire *Wal-mart craft section
2. Pliers
3. Candle

 Cut 3 pieces of wire about 6 or 7 inches long.

Take your pliers and wrap one end in a circle

 braid the 3 pieces together

 When you get to the end take one of the wires and wrap it around the other 2.

use  your candle to measure for your finger.

 You can wrap it around the candle  3 times and make one ring.

 Or...................................

 measure on your candle for one ring,

cut the wire,

 make sure to  leave a little extra wire to wrap.

Wrap your extra wire around

Now you have 3 separate rings.
