I Re-Styled my T shirt-vest.
What? Me, Re-Style something ~
I did a different back, reworked the front a little, and added a little color.
I think it makes it look so different.
What do you guys think?
I would love your input!
Changing it was easy.
This is how!
Tutorial
You need This
and these
Rubber-bands
I found mine on some yummy broccoli that I had bought.
Now~ I have never tie dyed before, I know that sounds crazy, but it is true, so I was truly excited about this.
And when I unwrapped the rubber bands...
I was so thrilled to see how it worked.
Once the garment soaked in the dye for ten minutes, took it out, rinsed it really well, and washed it with a little detergent, then I hung it outside to dry.
and that was it.
Have a wonderful Saturday!!

ReplyDeleteHow did you do the back? Berdetta@sbcglobal.net
ReplyDeleteI've been trying to figure out what you used to tie this dyed one. Was it seam-strips from the cut portion of the t-shirt that you also dyed? Or was it something else, like cord?
ReplyDeleteHoping to find x-large t-shirts here in Uruguay!
Can you make the back differently to change style? Can it be left plain?
ReplyDeleteSure you can do whatever you want to it, experiment and make it your own..
Deletei think it would look cute if you did not tie the things on it on the back and justs leave it the way you cu tit before! just an idea though!:)

ReplyDeleteWhat did you use to tie the back?
ReplyDeleteI used scraps of tee-shirt cut, dyed and stretched.
DeleteAnd how did you tie them in the back? It looks so complex, but very cool!
DeleteLove your changes you made to these vests! I am going to try to make my own now! Silly question though, can you explain to me how you tied that cord/string on the back? I love that idea but can't figure out how you did it :)
